Full Scale The YC-43 is the military version of the D-17 Staggerwing. In 1939 the USAAC took delivery of three Model D17S biplanes and designated them YC-43. |

Manard's Staggerwing This is a Royal Models kit done in the YC-43 paint scheme. Manard uses mechanical retracts on the 10 lbs model but the grass fields have taken their toll. No retracts for next season. Builder Manard Spicer |
