YC-43 Full Scale
The YC-43 is the military version of the D-17 Staggerwing. In 1939 the USAAC took delivery of three Model D17S biplanes and designated them YC-43.
Small Scale Staggerwing
This is a work in progress by my friend Thomas Beech. Tom started this model years ago and we hope he will get back to it soon. Tom is also providing technical support and building advise on my scratch building project.

Manard's Staggerwing
This is a Royal Models kit done in the YC-43 paint scheme. Manard uses mechanical retracts on the 10 lbs model but the grass fields have taken their toll. No retracts for next season.

Vintage RC Plans Staggerwing
This is a kit built from plans designed by Robert Sweitzer (Sold by Fred Novack of Vintage RC Plans). It is a 64 inch wing span model that weights about 14 pounds. This is a hard model to build (I'm building one - Vic)
